Expect the Unexpected
How many time have you heard expect the unexpected? I thought today was going to be one of those lazy Sundays where I would watch some football and play with the kids. Well that is what happened until I went to turn on my computer, and then BEEP BEEP..... BANG! Nothing. Yeah my computer crashed and I hadn't backed it up for a while. Which means, I lost EVERYTHING. All those contacts I was keeping, and all the detail information about customer and potentials is now gone.
So instead of complaining about it, I've decided to make the best of the situation and keep plugging forward and backing up my system a heck of a lot more. Mac has a great utility for backing up your harddrive, and I'll be using that more often now.
But the lesson here is to be prepared. When you least expect it, or when you need it not to happen, it will happen. So remember, back things up and be ready get to your data quickly.
