Putting Things On eBay
So I decided to get the eBay thing working for me a bit. If we are going to make money, then selling is the only way I know how to generate income. You have to sell something to get money right? That "something" either needs to be a product or a service, and since I already have an eBay store setup, that seems like the perfect first place to start selling.
The first thing I needed to considered is what am I actually going to sell? With eBay, just about everything known to man is for sale on their site, so whatever it is, it needs to be unique. More importantly, it needs to be something that people will buy. So I started to think about the things that I would buy, or have purchased to see if any of those might be something up my alley.
With a little investigation, I think that there is such a product that I can produce and sell rather well on eBay.
One of the "business" ideas I had years ago, was to be a silk screen for all these T-Shirt sites that are popping up all over the place. I myself have had a few of them with varying degrees of success. So with eBay it makes it easy to put up an idea for pennies and find out whether or not it actually works or not.
So I've chosen my product of choice (T-Shirts) and I'm going to start putting them on eBay! My expectations for this is that they start to sell slowly, maybe nothing for a few days or so, but eventually something. The nice part about it, is that I don't actually have to produce something before it's sold, which keeps my costs down.

We'll track this in the earnings report and we'll see how well I did with pricing it. I think pricing is a whole new subject, so we'll get to this later.
*Note: I think a really important aspect to eBay is to be selling more than one thing, especially if you have a store. So I'll definitely want more than just one shirt in there, and I'll probably want more than just T-Shirts. Other items are a must.
That's pretty much it for today. I'm going to spend the rest of the day putting things into my store and see how they go. Wouldn't it be great that tomorrows posts had something to do with selling one of those items? Yes it would.
