Don't Waist Another Day
Everyday that your not writing is a day wasted that you won't be able to sell your information online. When I set out to write a book, I try to break it down into manageable pieces. The first thing that I always do is outline. I'm sure there are fifth grade teachers everywhere cheering for joy, because the writing skills you learned in grammar school are going to be very useful in creating your ebook.
What follows is the outline I used to create my “Blogging with Blogger and Get Paid by Google”.
The layout of my book went something like this.
- Intro
- What Is Blogging
- Why Blog
- Why it's important
- Available Platforms
- What is Blogger
- Why Blogger
- Getting Started with Blogger
- Get an Account
- Setting it up
- Continue writing
- After Your Setup
- Get Traffic
- Make Money
- New Layouts
- Other Tools
- Analyze
- Adsense
- Attract
At this point I want to make one thing perfectly clear, make that crystal clear. It is OK to change your outline once your start writing. In fact I will almost guarantee that you'll change your outline once you've gotten on the path to writing. The outline is just there to help you gather your thoughts and ideas. I find myself being more of a scratch paper type of person. I like to write things down on scratch paper and then move them into something electronic, usually my handy dandy word processor. I then throw my scratchings away, because I want to avoid as much clutter as possible. The writing process can be extremely frustrating at times, and I want to do as much as possible to avoid clutter and distractions. So for me staying focused is really important, and it helps me get my product to market that much quicker.
In the next post I'll go over how much to write, but for now start getting your outline together for your book. You won't be sorry when those checks start showing up in your mailbox.
