I've got Feeds
Not that this has much to do with making money or how I handled my business matters, but I now have a syndication feed on this blog. Many of you readers sent me comments wanted to know if you could subscribe to a RSS Feed. Well now you can. You can either find that feed in the address bar, or click on the link on the right hands side of the page that says "Subscribe".
That's all there is to subscribing to my feeds.
For those of you who want a little more information on what a feed is, here is the technical definition of a feed.
What is RSS RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.
Why Use RSS RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. It allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually. You ensure your privacy, by not needing to join each site's email newsletter.
The short and sweet answer here is that you want to use RSS whenever possible. I use RSS to scan my favorite websites for new content every morning. It saves me time and energy and I don't have to keep bookmarking and visiting each individual site to see if something new is posted.
Start using RSS, because we are going show you how to monetize it shortly.
